Thanksgiving 2009

We are so blessed to be surrounded by family every year. I was a little under the weather this season but luckily my sister in law brought the camera so we have pictures of at least 1 thanksgiving!

I'm a big girl!

Lately, we have been teaching Iz how to use the "big girl potty" she has shown a lot of interest in the bathroom as well as all things "big girl"
She likes to have her "own" baby, purse, shoes (which are mommy's work shoes), toothbrush, and sun glasses.
She even like to wipe!

Lately, Iz has been addicted to the Wiggles. We thought it would be perfect to dress her up just like Captain Feathersword!

Pumkin Patch

Yeah! It finally winter! I love this time of year. Time to break out the winter boots, sweatshirts, and holiday decorations. I must say this is my favorite time of year. Although last year was great, this year is even better. To watch Iz really enjoy the things the holiday brings is just amazing. One of our first adventures of the season was the Pumpkin patch.

She got to visit with the goats, chickens, rode her first horse, played in a jumpy house, and picked out her very first pumpkin!

Santa Ana Zoo.

Now that Iz is out and about our weekends are no longer about Christian and I. It's all about Isabella and her addiction to the great outdoors! I take her everywhere I can on the weekends, but she is getting bored of the grocery store, target, walmart, the cleaners, etc. She was a great little helper on mom's weekend chores, but lately I spend more time chasing her than getting anything done!

One of the newest locations is the Santa Ana Zoo. It was a great little place to go for a few hours. She loved seeing all the animals, the birds specifically. If you are ever looking for an inexpensive($8) thing to do with the family...well, it's right off the 55 and the 5 fwy~

Redwoods 2009

Every year all of Christian's side of the family get together and head off to the Redwoods. Christian has been doing this every summer since he was a baby. It was wonderful introducing Iz to the redwoods...and it was a nice break from the world of technology for me!
It was an extra special treat to actually be there at the same time as a lot of her cousins.
I must say every vacation/trip is different with a baby but she is such an angel and I can't imagine life without Iz.

She is such a trooper! A little to brave for her own good some times but she couldn't have enjoyed playing in the dirt and in the river more. She even went fishing with daddy. She couldn't really reel in the fish but Christian took the fish off the hook would hand it to Iz and she released it back in the water...so cute!

Can't wait for next year.
