San Fransisco 2010

On the way to the Redwoods this year we decided to take a pit stop in San Francisco for a few days. We stayed down at the Wharf which was just perfect for the kids. We found the best hotel and will make this our place to stay each year.

We visted Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square, Alcatraz, China Town, and Union Square. We had a blast.

Neither Christian nor I had been back to Alcatraz since we were little so that was a treat. Belli seemed more interested in going on the boat then really being inside the jail. She got some headphones though which were a really big hit.

Special thanks to Elishia for the newest "must have" moby wrap. Jonah absolutely loved being in the wrap attached to my chest. Plus it was pretty chilly so it was nice to have him there too! Not that fashionable but it works! Highly recommend. (Jonah is the blue bump on the front of me). :)

Redwoods 2010

The redwoods this year was a blast! It is so nice to see Isabella really enjoy herself and Jonah really soak things in (while sleeping of course).

Each year things just keep getting more and more fun. Isabella got to fish, swim, and just play. There were a lot of kids there this year too, some cousins and some family friends (for whatever reason, I didn't get a picture of the kids playing, or as Isabella would say "her friends").

This year Christian won the biggest fish contest (I also didn't get a picture of it, where the heck was I???) Anyway, his fish was almost 20 inches! and for the small stream and swim holes we fish at this is a huge fish!

Can't wait for next year. Oh, and I fell this year and twisted my ankle. That was fun. The Frenchs lent me some cruches that I used for a whole 3 minutes before falling on my butt and making my ankle worse!

Its like calling the doctor to ask if Jonah not pooing is harmful, to walk in to a room 2 minutes later to a diaper full of stool

It's like telling your friends about your 6 hours of sleep the night before, to waking up the next night 11 times and sleeping on your 2 year olds floor.

It's explaining to a new mom the tricks of the trade, to only be reminded that you are not in control of anything in your day!

I'm 6 weeks old!

Jonah is getting so big! He is such a good baby. He really brightens the day at the office and allows me to get a lot of work done...most of the time!

My "baby brader"

Isabella has been adorable with Jonah. She wants him to go anywhere she goes and is constantly worried about her baby brader every time he makes a sound. She is such a good mommy! She really wants him to play with her but it doesn't seem like she undestands that he just can't do it yet. lol

I can't wait for these two to be the best of friends!

2 week check up!

Jonah went to the doctor for his 2 week check up. Everything went great! At our last appointment Baby J's weight was a 8 lbs 8 oz so we had some work to do to get him up to birth weight by his 2 week appointment. I started to feed him as much as I could during the day and on demand at night...and whala! he gained almost 1 pound in 10 days!
