Easter 2011!

jo

A few weekends ago, my mom and I took the kids to a local Easter carnival. It was so much fun to see the kids enjoy dying Easter eggs, making "crafts", planting seeds and learning how they grow.

The even gave the kids little bags of candy and little toys to take home with them. Of course, Belli remembered to get 2 bags, one for her and one for her lil brother. Funny part was, when I gave one of the bags to Jonah, she quickly took it back and reminded me.."Jonah is too little for this stuff mommy, this is for big kids only"

Classic Picture....

Here is a picture of the first time Jonah and Belli got in the bath with each other. He is hysterical in the bath. He splashes so bad and isn't afraid of going under water.

Not many people know that Jonah has 2 toes that are webbed. I really do think he might be part fish or something because his love and trust for water is not normal. The doctor is always saying we have an Olympian on our hands so maybe he is going to be a world class swimmer? Christian is still hoping for a golfer I think but not sure how webbed toes gives you a "one up" on our competition as a golfer...

Both kids seem to be enjoying each others company, most of the time!

For a few hours a day, they both spend time sitting together on the floor playing with toys around the house. They play (Belli plays, and Jonah really just watches) well, assuming Jonah allows Belli to control each and every toy he is allowed to touch, play, and use...she is quite controlling and bossy. I have no idea what she gets that from...weird!She has been riding her bike (which we allow her to do in the house, we have tile through the downstairs) and Jonah chases her in his walker. It is absolitely hilarious to see. I haven't got a picture of it, but soon...I promise...

6 month stats (a little late)

About 5 weeks ago, Jonah went to the doctors for his check up!

He is off the charts...well almost.

Weight: 21 lbs (95%)
Height: 95% percentile
Head: 95% percentile

Also, he sits, he claps, he is ALMOST crawling...well not almost but at least he his getting up on all fours...

Love love love this little guy.

Pictures soon.

Asthma!

Wow, it has been a long time and a rough time at that!

Both Isabella and Jonah have been really sick and were actually diagnosed with "asthma." Christian likes to blame me for my defaulted genes because I had childhood asthma, but all joking aside...it is so SAD!

Both kids have been on breathing treatments and have to take inhalers 2 times a day with these face masks things. Jonah screams bloody murder and Belli runs away from it like it were the plague~

With all of the congestion, both kids have cough themselves into illness (throwing up...etc). The worst part is that this normally happens at about 1 am when one child is sound asleep and the other throws up all over me or themselves....agggg!! I can't tell you how many times our poor comforter has been at the cleaners...GROSS!

Things are looking up though. I am getting a little more sleep and my angels are finally smiling again!
